As part of HKA’s Community Impact Team (CIT) initiatives, the Johannesburg office recently marked Mandela Day 2025 with a heartfelt outreach of garden planting at the New Life Centre for Girls, a Johannesburg-based non-profit that provides shelter, education, and rehabilitation for girls aged 3 to 18 from vulnerable backgrounds. In 2024, the firm visited New Jerusalem Children’s Home, a faith-based organisation offering holistic care and education to orphaned and abandoned children in Midrand. HKA has also donated funds to Reach for a Dream Foundation, which fulfils the dreams of children battling life-threatening illnesses, bringing hope and joy during their most difficult times, and CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation. These initiatives reflect HKA’s broader commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly focused on Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 3: Good Health & Wellbeing, and Goal 4: Quality Education.
